  Ate here twice, once for dinner and again for breakfast. Both meals were delicious and there is plenty more choices than just chowder. Breakfast was French toast and bacon and huge portion and delicious

  We stopped over for lunch at the Chowder House on our way to PEI. The restaurant didn't appear to be busy. We walked in and no one greeted us. We walked up to the cashier counter and looked around, still no hello, nothing. We finally decided to go to the patio and saw a waiter and asked can we grab a seat? Again few words and not so friendly. We ordered our food, which was great, but the server didn't tell us the specials, nor bring us our cutlery until we asked for them after getting our meals. Very poor customer service. Food was good! But couldn't stay long in such an environment.

  Me and my wife went on our honeymoon in the surrounding area. Saw a sign for a little place called the chowder house on main. Thought we would give it s a shot. I must say, this restaurant has the best seafood chowder I've ever had. Hands down. I highly recommend it.
